All the statutory holidays are recorded in the holiday calendar and based on this holiday calendar all the work schedules are created. An organization can also have different holiday calendars for different groups of employee, which is based on the regional holidays. This initiates the necessity to fill up the Absences Infotype (2001) with fixed holidays, which may be same for a large number of employees.
